Hello !

Better to say it right away, I enjoy as much painting with poetry than writing with images; to blend words with colors. Indeed, painting for me is more than simple visual art with an aesthetic purpose, it is a special mean of communication between the soul of the artist and the external world. Similarly, poetry and writing are more than a mean of communication, it is a special form of art that reflects the soul of the poet onto the external world.

Contrary to the story of Edgar Allan Poe (The oval portrait), it seems to me that it's the life of the painter itself which is transfered piece by piece on the canvas and not the one of its models. Above all, painting and writing are first a matter of love. Inspiration has its roots in love. To grasp Nature and the surrounding World in a few lines or words, we first need to love them. But love requires the will to understand, which in turn demands learning to know them and an open mind to discoveries. All this lead to the necessity of philosophy and sciences in art. Painting and poetry are inspired by the knowledge and vision we have of the universe in which we exist and by the love we have for life.

Hence, for this multimedia philosophy what's more appropriate than a web site !

"For the love of painting"

Bonjour !

Autant le dire tout de suite, j’aime tout aussi bien peindre avec les vers que d’écrire avec des verts; amalgamer les couleurs aux mots. Car peindre selon moi est plus qu’un art visant l'esthétisme, c’est un moyen de communication privilégié entre l’âme de l’artiste et le monde extérieur. Tout comme écrire est plus qu’un moyen de communication, c’est un art privilégié qui reflète l’âme du poète sur le monde extérieur.

Contrairement à l’histoire d’Edgar Allan Poe (Le portrait ovale), il me semble que ce soit plutôt la vie du peintre qui est déposée pièce par pièce sur les toiles et non celle de ses modèles. Avant toute chose, peindre et écrire sont affaires d’amour. L'inspiration trouve ses racines dans l'amour. Pour saisir en traits ou en phrases la Nature et le Monde qui nous entourent, il faut d’abord les aimer. Mais pour aimer, ne faut-il pas comprendre ? Cela exige d’apprendre à les connaître et à les découvrir, d’où la nécessité de la philosophie et des sciences en art. La poésie, de même que la peinture, s’inspirent de la connaissance et de la vision que nous avons de l’univers où nous existons, de l’amour que nous avons de la vie.

Ainsi donc, pour cette philosophie multimédia, quoi de plus approprié qu'un site internet !
